Its principal, Amy Edwards, is a seasoned and creative professional with over 20 years’ expertise in pinpointing business opportunities to bolster client revenue, enhance operational productivity, and achieve mission-related objectives. Our passion is providing solutions to make lasting positive change for our clients, the customers they serve, and their communities.

    MEET OUR PRINCIPAL AMY EDWARDS.

  • We provide a wide variety of services including strategic advisory, financial analysis, project management and organizational development consulting. Blending industry best practices with innovative tools and techniques is our specialty. As such, we take the time to get to know your business, your goals, and your people to thoughtfully craft customized solutions. We work in partnership with our clients to develop visionary strategic plans, optimal financing structures, and effective decision-making frameworks.

  • Syncopated Strategies works primarily with small and medium-sized businesses, non-profit organizations, and municipal entities. Our ideal clients are enthusiastic collaborators who share ideas freely and are excited by the possibilities that come with working with creative, out-of-the-box thinkers.

MEET AMY EDWARDS

PRINCIPAL of syncopated strategies


Amy is an experienced manager and community-focused leader.  For the last 20 years, Amy has worked within and consulted to a wide range of industries, with a particular specialty in real estate, including commercial and community lending, property and asset management, project and construction management, and market rate as well as affordable housing development. 

Amy has a passion for working with organizations serving marginalized and disadvantaged communities and volunteers her time to support local affordable housing and educational organizations. 

Amy holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in French and International Affairs from Sweet Briar College. Originally from the East Coast, Amy now calls Portland, Oregon home. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring destinations near and far with her family, watching documentaries, and riding to the newest coffee shops on her Vespa.
